funny...i feel a kind of despair at e way my ctry is heading. just. funny. i think sg's not doing very well....i can see a future whereby e income gap will be damn bad.....e poor will always be poor coz their wealth can nvr multiple as fast as e rich. e govt as e typical govt they are will offer help packages saying tt they are doing much to help..when elections draw near.....they will prob make promises...give incentives...and these poor deluded sg pple will cont voting for e govt.....we are heading in tt direction...i can start coming up with a theory of sg income disparity with graphs already to be e first to publish it.......serious. this is damn damn sad.......feel soooooo depressed now.......e govt is going into a regressive tax sys knowingly. and they are doing this to promote growth yet they are not doing enuf to correct e trade-off coz of their 'teach a man to fish and it will benefit him his whole lifetime' theory. everything seems rite on e surface.........is there really nothing tt can be done?? tt in every developed society..there will be those on e sidelines..not players of e game?? like those pple living in ghettos in e USA...pple who live their whole lives.........noeing tt they can nvr earn enuf for a decent SOL??? just look at where we are heading. pple applying for financial aid..both unemployed....3 kids...e govt tells u 'i give u money for retraining. then u go work' y????? to push e economy. token help packages tt dun help much...y???? to push u to push e economy. e tax sys. cutting coporate tax...inheritance tax.....y?? to push pple who are rich to come to sg to push e economy. increase in GST...y???? to push u to work harder to earn tt money to pay e bloody GST and indirectly pushing e economy...to get tt extra rev...so tt e govt can come up with more ways to push e economy.........this is damn depressing. in e end.........we are all tools in e pushing of this economy......u either emerge a gd tool tt e govt continues to use and u benefit from e care tt is given to gd tools.......or u are discarded as a sacrificial lamb tt has failed it's purpose.............
