have to blog abt this..no choice.
i lost a child..all kids/teens have potential. i worked with one for a mth...i got to know him better...i saw him for his hardwork, his ambition, his drive, his righteousness. i liked this child for he is unique. he's gifted in bball, he is always keen to study and learn and despite his good looks, he is such a shy and quiet boy, quietly thinking abt a possible future for himself. i rem thinking to myself 'wat can possibly go wrong with this boy?'. but sadly, i lost e boy. i rem last seeing him at a shopping centre, following a bunch of school jocks ard, he gave an ambiguous answer abt whether i'll be seeing him tt evening and i cld hear his frens asking him abt where he was going tt evening. he was ashamed to answer. it was then tt i knew that we wld lose him to them.
then he left his bfriender who was back for him. he rejected his multiple calls and coldly refused to answer his messages. yest, i sent e boy an sms asking how's his exams and to tell him to rem tt we'll always be here and he can just call us if he needs any help. sadly, there's not reply. dunno bahz. perhaps we cannot measure up to his newfound popularity in sch. perhaps now we are passe and uncool. dunno bahz. i just hope tt this boy....with whom i have discussed his future with, who is so intent on finding out more abt e O lvls beyond his 'N' lvls...who so wants to go experience NS and consider signing on..who is so keen to learn despite e odds will not give up on his quest....even if he gives up on us...
